Free Tennessee Divorce Forms

The state of Tennessee Supreme Court approved certain divorce forms as being “universally acceptable as legally sufficient.” As long as the forms are filled out correctly, the courts must accept them. To file for divorce in Tennessee, you or your spouse must have lived in the state for at least six months.

The state-approved forms are for UNCONTESTED divorces only. For an uncontested divorce, regardless of whether minor children are involved, both spouses must agree on all issues of the divorce and cannot own real property. Real property includes houses, land, buildings, mobile homes that are permanently attached to the ground, condominiums, and cooperatives.

The available Tennessee divorce forms are offered in packets of all required paperwork. You may not need all of the forms included in the package
